Your Number is Very Nearly Up!!!

Hi,
Kathy here today with my project for Jackie's challenge which is called:

"Just a number!"

Jackie's allowing us to use text too -  but no images this time!
Although the one rule here on Get Funky! is that you must use at least one Funky Hand product, as usual Anice has prepared a fabulous Funky Freebie so that even if you haven't yet caught on to the delights of Funky Hand, you  can grab the freebie now and join in straight-away!.
Remember:
The only rule is to use at least 1 Funky Hand product to have a chance of winning this months prize of a fantastic download.

It's a card from me this time - mainly because I've been asked a few times lately for 40th birthday cards - so next time I get such a request I'll have one at the ready.  If I remember....!

These paper designs are from the latest Funky Hand CD Wishes & Kisses   and I think they are super-stylish in this black and white colourway - nice and easy too, to pick a paper or two from one of the other colour collections to add a bit of contrast,
You see how the background looks like two pieces of paper?  Well its actually just one!  The clever Papercraft Factory workspace facility allows you to resize the papers before printing - so I chose 4 papers, dragged them to fit all four on the page, making sure that the ones I wanted to use together were side by side, with no gap between.  Once printed I cut off the section for the background,  "topped and tailed" it to fit my card and adhered it in place.
Another quarter of my paper was used for the upper section.  Before die-cutting with a Nesties Labels die I adhered the paper to a piece of card.  I trimmed it on two sides, then used a smaller die to cut the aperture.  I added a scrap of white card to the main card where the little aperture would be, then tied the ribbon around the die cut and fixed the piece in place with some foam tape.
The numerals and flower are cut from the 4th quarter or my paper, this pretty dusky pink shade is from the "Its the Big Day" colour-way, whilst the other 3 are all from the "In Sympathy"  collection
I cut the numerals with my Craft Robo and adhered them to the white scrap behind the aperture
I used:
Funky Hand CD Wishes & Kisses  papers from "In Sympathy"
and "Its the Big Day" collections
Spellbinders Nesties Labels die set
Tonic flower punch
Hand cut coiled rose
Seam binding, mirror gems, Stickles Glitter Glue

There's loads of inspiration from the rest of the Funky Hand team for this challenge - just scroll back to see all the ideas.  There's still Anice's project to come before the end of this Funky Fifteenth month - which means there's not many days left for you to get your project linked and be in with a chance of winning our monthly prize - but don't forget to use that all-important Funky Hand product or you won't even get the chance to win.

Happy, Funky Crafting
